About The Artist 

Born in 1959 in Waltham, Massachusetts, Shane Conant grew up in New England and spent his adult life in Maine. He created Shane Paints Maine with the intention of highlighting the beauty of Maine's scenery and providing prints for people to enjoy.

Shane passed away before his aspirations could come to fruition. Due to the abundance of drawings and paintings he left behind and the interest in his work, his children are carrying through to honor and remember his vision.
